Pete Cross

  PETE CROSS has been a pro D.J since 1970 beginning his career at Portsmouth's top night spots, THE TRICORN CLUB, NEROS  NIGHTCLUB and the MECCA BALLROOM working alongside many of the top names of the day including SLADE, MUD, STATUS QUO, T.REX, plus making a guest spot on the BBC RADIO ONE ROAD SHOW with NOEL EDMONDS. In the mid seventies Pete went "on the road "and has appeared at club's, hotels, restaurants, civic centres, military establishments etc. throughout the Southern Counties including functions on board H.M. ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA, THE BRIGHTON CONFERENCE CENTRE, PORTSMOUTH AND SOUTHAMPTON GUILDHALLS  and for two years presented the Christmas party nights  at the U.K's top cabaret venue THE LAKESIDE CLUB in Camberley. For  three years he was the Compere for The Miss Southern Evening Echo Contest and Fronted Roadshows for Bass Charington and 'Music for Pleasure Records'.
Pete appeared for five years on BBC RADIO SOLENT presenting "Pete Cross in Cabaret Land"and the Juke Box Jury shows plus regular live appearances at the Southsea and Southampton shows  and not forgetting the near hit single March Of The Mods released in 1982.
